Queen Elizabeth II Down To Her Last Million due To Overspending

 

According to new reports, the Queen of England is down to her last $1.6m in reserves after royal overspending. She was once the richest woman in the world (in the 80s) and in 2010 Forbes mag estimated her net worth at around $450 million and now she’s broke.
Perhaps Queen Elizabeth II could learn something from her thrifty granddaughter-in-law Kate Middleton. The 87-year-old monarch has been overspending the royal family’s famous fortune, according to a report published by the Commons Public Accounts Committee on Monday, Jan. 27.

Following her courtiers’ advice, Her Majesty the Queen’s reserve fund has fallen from £35?million ($58 million) in 2001 to just £1?million ($1.6 million) in 2014. The report states the royal family is “spending above their means and dipping into the reserves…the balance now stands at an all-time low.”

SAD: Playboy Model Found Dead at Friend's House

A former Playboy playmate has been found dead of an apparent overdose at the age of 34.

Cassandra Lynn Hensley was found in a friend's bathtub on January 15, 2014, Wednesday, and the police are looking into the death.

According to TMZ, which reported the death on January 17, 2014, Thursday, the death is still under investigation, despite there was no sign of foul play.

The late model was visiting a friend in Los Angeles this week. The unidentified friend found the playmate unresponsive in a bathtub.

The friend indicated that it may have been due to an overdose. However, no specific drugs have been identified.

First responders were not able to revive the model when they arrived at the scene.

Cassandra, whose nickname was 'Butterfly' for the five butterfly tattoos she had on her body, had been working in recent months as an event hostess.

She recently bought a motorcycle and had been learning how to ride it.

Uganda President Refused To Sign Anti-Gay Bill Into Law

Uganda's president, Yoweri Museveni has refused to approve the controversial anti-gay bill passed by the country's parliament that would see homosexuals jailed for life.
In a letter to parliament, the president who described homosexuals as abnormal said there were better ways to "rescue" people from their "abnormality", adding that homosexuality was caused by either "random breeding" or a need to make money and lesbians, he said, chose female partners because of "sexual starvation" and the failure to marry a man.
"You cannot call an abnormality an alternative orientation. It could be that the Western societies, on account of random breeding, have generated many abnormal people," he said.
He added that even with legislation, they will simply go underground and continue practicing homosexuality or lesbianism for mercenary reasons.
According to him, improving the nation's economy would stop people becoming gay.
