Today, Tuesday, November 26, 2013, my friend and client, Alhaji Mujahid Dokubo-Asari, was arrested in Cotonou, Benin Republic, around the hours of 1:00pm and 2:00pm by the country’s gendarmes (Police Force).

He was picked up around the Lubeleyi roundabout and taken to an unknown destination. We want to emphasise that Alhaji Dokubo-Asari carries on legitimate business and has been living partly in Benin Republic for many years now. In fact, he owns houses, schools and an academy in that country. All these places have been searched as at this evening and nothing incriminating was found.

We think his arrest and detention is a ploy by certain forces in Nigeria in unholy alliance with the Beninoise government to keep him away as 2015 approaches.

We call on the Nigerian government to immediately intervene and ensure that no harm befalls Alhaji Dokubo-Asari and to use all diplomatic means to secure his immediate release and safe return to Nigeria.

Meanwhile, we shall be liaising immediately with our colleagues in that country to enforce his fundamental rights.

1. During the first few weeks Beyonce gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter, she kept a low profile. So did Kim after having North West for a while. She has however been seen prancing around despite her claim to living a more private life.
2. Beyonce made sure Blue Ivy’s face well covered and shadowed from hungry press men, so did Kim. She eventually revealed her daughters face for the first time on her mums show.

Talk about weirdness! Getting married to other humans isn't enough, some people now marry inanimate objects!

That's the story of Linda Ducharme, a Florida woman who got married to a ferris wheel named Bruce. Ferris wheel - as in jangolova!

The New York Daily News reports that Ducharme first met "Bruce" at a carnival in 1982 and it was love at first sight for her.

“I got this weird feeling I can’t explain. My heart was pounding as we went up the platform and got on the ride. I felt like I was being taken by this ride," she said.

This is Ducharme's first weird affair. Her previous relationships include a fly-by-night affair with an airplane and a romance with a train that eventually derailed.

Davido added another year yesterday 21^st of November, and the superstar decided to give back to society to celebrate the milestone. The singer who is gearing up for the release of a new single started his day by dropping by Ikeja Government Primary School where he presented the pupils with stationery and electronics to aid learning.

Instead, she decided to do something outrageous that was outside of the law and ultimately landed her straight in jail.
Mrs. Lopez sat for hours in front of Sacramento County Jail contemplating her weird plan. As it turned out Mrs. Lopez surprisingly blocked the path of a police officer who had just finished his shift and was leaving the building. She then purposely slapped the cop in the face. After getting arrested Lopez explained that she wanted to be imprisoned just to quit smoking.
Now Mrs. Lopez will serve a 63-day sentence complemented by a 3 year probation in which she would have plenty of time to kick out the unhealthy habit.

Album Review: Olamide - Baddest Guy Ever Liveth

Olamide dropped the much awaited album titled "Baddest Guy Ever Liveth" with 21 tracks.

The first time I saw it was going to be 21 tracks, my expectation level just dropped and I am here thinking 'no artiste can make 21 great tracks on one album.' In fact my theory is "the higher the number of tracks, the higher the number of junk"….My theory holds but that depends on what your expectation of the album was.

Olamide is a skillful rapper no doubt, if you have any doubts, this album would erase that. He raps in English Yoruba, Pidgin and even delivers "Ijebu" rhymes which I thought was down right skillful.
Anyways, enough with my personal rant, let's go on to review the tracks.

ASUU dares FG: You can’t force varsities to open •Jonathan meets union leaders today

Skuki Peeshaun leaves tattoo shop in PAIN

Currently holidaying in Cyprus, Peeshaun wanted to get a tattoo on his left arm. He however could not stand the pain and had to run away from the shop to the amusement of his brother, manager and those around the shop.
