BREAKING: Spanish Midfielder Cesc Fabregas Completes Transfer From Barcelona To West Ham?

FABRIGAS NL1 500x500 BREAKING: Spanish Midfielder Cesc Fabregas Completes Transfer From Barcelona To West Ham?

Cesc Fabregas would appear poised to complete a transfer to the Premier League this summer with Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United all in contention to sign the former Arsenal captain.

But have West Ham beaten their more illustrious rivals to the coveted signature of the Barcelona midfielder?

Well, NO, they haven’t. But a very convincing Photoshop job has performed to show Fabregas supposedly signing for West Ham – an acquisition that would certainly help Sam Allardyce establish a more attacking focus at Upton Park next season.

As it turns out, the player on which the head of Fabregas has been placed is Italian striker Marco Borriello, who joined West Ham from Roma in the January transfer window on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.

But while Fabregas may not actually have joined West Ham, it would appear that the most likely destination for the 27-year-old is indeed London.

Chelsea have been identified as the leading contenders for the player, with the club hoping to recruit Fabregas as a replacement for Frank Lampard.

The Chelsea offer, however, is reported to be lower than that lodged by Manchester United who, it is claimed, have tabled a proposal worth £34 million in the hope of bringing Fabregas to Old Trafford.

Along with Chelsea and Manchester United, Arsenal continue to be linked with their ex-skipper, although it would appear Arsene Wenger will not pursue the option to bring Fabregas back to the Emirates Stadium.
