The prestigious AfricaMagic Viewers’ Choice Awards – the biggest
night for Africa’s film and television industry is just 24 hours away
and we can’t wait! Now in its second year, the 2014 AMVCAs will take
place today Saturday 8 March at the Convention Centre of the Eko Hotel,
Victoria Island, Lagos.
Tune to AfricaMagic, DStv channel 154 at 18:00 (CAT) on 8 March to
see your favourite stars walk the red carpet in their stunning gowns and
dapper suits. Right after, witness the moment of truth when the 2014
AMVCA winners are announced at the prestigious awards ceremony. And
which talented artistes will entertain us this year? You’ll have to
watch to see!

The AMVCAs were created to acknowledge and celebrate the contribution
made by Pan African filmmakers, actors and technicians in the success
of the continent’s film and television industry.
This year, a total of 29 awards in 27 categories will be awarded with
the recipients of the Industry Merit Award, the New Era Award and the
Trailblazer Award also to be announced.
