Usually, you don’t expect from children as young as 3 to understand
the hard things in life such as disease and suffering.
However, the
3-year-old Emily James has proven that you don’t have to be old to be
wise or to understand what others are going through even though you
haven’t experienced it yourself.
This young girl has shown more
compassion than many adults throughout their entire lifetime.
Amy James, Emily’s mom, showed her daughter pictures of kids with
cancer who had lost their hair after chemotherapy.
Amy explained that if
Emily was willing to shorten her hair then they would donate it so wigs
for sick children could be made of it.
The woman wasn’t expecting that
her daughter would agree knowing that she has been dreading getting her
hair cut but Emily totally surprised her.
The girl felt really sad for the sick children and willingly let her
uncle Matthew, who happens to be a hairdresser, cut her hair.
However,
under one condition – that her dolly gets a hair cut, too. After the new
hairdos were done Emily stated that she and her dolly both looked very
pretty.
